I have a neutral foot and I need a running shoe to wear for my middle distance track training. It is between the Nike Air Max Torch SL (http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/productdetail/cm–Mens%3A%20Running%3A%20Type%3A%20Shoes/supercat–mens/model–85608~16125104/mvpid–sport~54717/sport–all/) , the Nike Impax Tomahawk SL (http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/productdetail/cm–Mens%3A%20Running%3A%20Type%3A%20Shoes/supercat–mens/model–85595~16469002/mvpid–sport~54717/sport–all/) and finally the Nike Air Zoom Skylon (http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/productdetail.cfm?model_nbr=81224&sku=16460171&SID=8732&inceptor=1&cm_mmc=SEO-_-Feeds-_-Froogle-_-null)
the last one, it looks like it has a lot of support for your foot, not just the heel.

don’t get nike shoes. you should get a pair of asics, mizuno, puma, or even brooks.
nike shoes been falling off for the last few years.
if your a mile runner, go for the skylon.
but if your a 400-800 like me, go for something like the mizuno precision.

I don’t like nike shoes for serious running much, as runner above, but thats personal and you may find them ok. Thats why its important you try on an go for a run in every pair first. A proper running shop will let you do that, and they’ll be able to help advcie you on how each pair performs based on their knowledge formed from hundreds of customers; where as most people giving you an answer here will base it on their and maybe their mates shoe choices which is maybe 40 pairs maximum of which 30 will be too dated to be of any use.
Whay made you come to the choices you have anyway, have you had your gait analysed? If not you need to and a specialist running shop will do this for you.
Buying shoes for running is the most important thing you can do, wrong choice can easily ruin a race and is very likely to cause injuries. Find your local running specialist shop and go down there, try on the shoes, see what you prefer and buy those.

There are places you can go designed for running where they measure your feet and show you the shoe you need. Their prices are a bit more expensive but it pays of in the long run. Runners definately need the perfect shoe. Good luck with your running.
